New California State Park Opens June 12 in the San Joaquin Valley  

Eight miles west of Modesto in the Central Valley, Dos Rios State Park will reclaim public-private floodplain and protect habitat for threatened and endangered wildlife at the Tuolumne and San Joaquin Rivers. The property will include opportunities for hiking and biking as well as greater river access for swimming, angling, boating, and other water sports.
